沖

沖, the clash, is two branches facing each other across the twelve and striking.

There are six pairs: 子午, 丑未, 寅申, 卯酉, 辰戌 and 巳亥.

Where the month and day branches clash, what stands between the place one belongs to and the self is read as shaken.

The post it belongs to and its own seat meet and strike. It is often divided between work and people, and it is hard to stay long in one place.
