Void and clash
沖
충(沖)
What it means
沖, the clash, is two branches facing each other across the twelve and striking.
There are six pairs: 子午, 丑未, 寅申, 卯酉, 辰戌 and 巳亥.
Where the year and month branches clash, what stands between root and the place one belongs to is read as shaken.
What the document says
Root and post meet and strike. Its grain is to go far from where it was born and raised, and the way of the house and its own way are long at odds.
A seat where leaving is in fact the natural order.
