建祿

建祿 is the seat of receiving a stipend among the twelve stages.

Here standing by one’s own strength, carrying the sense of independence and office.

The twelve stages are found by setting the day stem against each branch; yang stems run forward and yin stems run back.

Its root is firm and its own mind strong.

It leans on nothing and accomplishes by itself — the figure of one who stands alone.

Faithfulness becomes skill and skill becomes ground.
