絶

絶 is the seat of being cut off among the twelve stages.

Here the breath is wholly empty here, so change is large; it is also called 胞.

The twelve stages are found by setting the day stem against each branch; yang stems run forward and yin stems run back.

Quick in thought and sensitive to change.

It is drawn to the new and decides fast.

Beginnings and endings come often, so it must raise the strength to keep one thing to the end.
