Void and clash

충(沖)

What it means

沖, the clash, is two branches facing each other across the twelve and striking.

There are six pairs: 子午, 丑未, 寅申, 卯酉, 辰戌 and 巳亥.

Where the day and hour branches clash, what stands between the self and the late years is read as shaken.

What the document says

Its own seat and the latter seat meet and strike. It is easily divided with those closest over what lies ahead, and the heart does not stay long in one place.

Put the wavering into the reckoning beforehand and it becomes the very force that drives.
