What it means
乙 eul is the graph likened to vine and flowering plant.
It is the second of the ten heavenly stems and belongs to the yin aspect of wood.
It grows by winding, so it is supple and persistent.
It does not snap as a great tree does, but without something to climb it cannot extend its strength.
