偏印

偏印 pyeonin is the seat that is what bears the day stem, of the same polarity.

A slanted seal, so it means unusual thought and particular learning.

It controls 食神 and is therefore also called 倒食.

Its seeing is uncommon; it looks otherwise than others.

It catches what others cannot see.

It weighs alone and puts things off.

Carry the thought into the doing, and it becomes a craft of its own.

It is already ample and would fill further.

Turn toward putting out rather than stacking, or it stops up.

An uncommon eye attaches.

It finds the road where others are not looking.

It becomes a slope to lean on.

Only see that the thinking does not lengthen until the hour is missed.

Ten years of learning and digging in.

Depth in solitude increases; beware delay and isolation.

Thought deepens and the seeing comes alive.

It suits new learning and solitary absorption.

Do not put off or ail alone; carry what is learned into the doing.
