病

病 is the seat of ailing among the twelve stages.

Here the breath weakens, so it is sensitive and turns inward.

The twelve stages are found by setting the day stem against each branch; yang stems run forward and yin stems run back.

Fine in feeling, and it feels the pain of others.

Deep in imagining and in care, it suits work that tends people.

It must tend itself, so as not to sink into feeling.
