長生

長生 is the seat of being born among the twelve stages.

Here the breath first rises here, so it is gentle and begins well.

The twelve stages are found by setting the day stem against each branch; yang stems run forward and yin stems run back.

Pure as a shoot just broken, and large in what it may become.

Being mild, it receives help from people readily.

Go steadily and the light grows toward the end.
